BeachLife Festival announces details for livestream of SpeakEasy mini-fest

The acoustic punk stage will serve up some of its intended performers online from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, May 1

BeachLife Festival 2020 would have kicked off on Friday, May 1 — but you know how that story ends for now.

Instead, the Redondo Beach-based fest will livestream music from acts booked to play its SpeakEasy side stage that day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

Already announced were performers including Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters, Trever Keith of Face to Face, Jason Cruz of Strung Out, Jason Devore of Authority Zero, and LAW, which is fronted by Jakob Nowell, son of late Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell. Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, who is also the 2020 curator of the side stage, will also perform.

Radio and TV sports personality Petros Papadakis has just been announced as host of the event, at which members of the Los Angeles Kings will also make appearances.
