For homeless women and children.

The wood and concrete frame of a small transitional housing development continues to take shape at 4801 W. Adams Boulevard.

The project, called Casa Amador, is being developed by the non-profit organization Reach for the Top.  The three-story edifice will feature six apartments - reserved for low- and moderate-income homeless women and children - above ground-floor office space and parking.
